Watercamp escapade was so much fun

Yes, my dear friends and family! Gab’s birthday get away at Watercamp Resort (as if the place was so far far far away kung makagetaway lang!) was successful. Gab and his cousins (Yma, Matthew and Leila) were all so happy and tired at the end of the day. Swimming, running, climbing are what made them busy all day.

Forgive me for not being able to take any pictures of the family activity. I know it is something that is hard to forgive but sadly no one was able to hold a camera since we are all busy. Maybe I should say that the old me who used to take all the pictures from every angle of any family activity were all gone. Or it could only be just because I don’t have a decent phone to use to take the camera.

We’ll I guess both fact are true, not having a decent camera to use to take pictures makes me lousy about taking pictures. To add more, taking care of the kids does not allow me to hold my camera at all times.

My cousin Leah is celebrating her “18th birthday” today. Can you imagine her making drama in her facebook wall with all those lines ( I quoted on top).

No matter you are sissy, you deserve to be loved, valued, cared for and most of  happy.  Your superman knows that of course! Since you are so far away, I am sending you the vanity stool, hope you will love it.  Forgive me for I can only send pictures of it. If you really want that, you can always buy one. Show it to me when you’ve bought it.

Rey’s 32nd Birthday

On our way to SM Masinag, I was teasing Rey, “wala ka na sa kalendaryo mahal” (you’re age is no longer counted on the calendar days).  He paused a little and said, “dati si kuya ang ginaganyan ko e…”( it used to be Kuya whom I was telling the same thing.)  I suddenly felt guilty, he was really mindful of his age.  To cheer him up, I told him nothing to worry about you, already have a Gab.

And here are some photos for the event…I was never wrong, its again another place for the kids…we found ourselves playing at Quantum X in SM Masinag.

Until the kids got tired……..

And we emptied our stomach…….

And we headed home…it was a long drive for us from Masinag to Imus, Cavite.   Gab was still hyper along the way and he never got asleep…

October is my Month

Not only Rey is going to celebrate his birthday next month, but me also. You won’t believe that our age gap is only 17 days.  We were born on the same month and year. So if you want to make a wild guess who is younger than who, please feel free to do so.  You can take these pictures below as a reference, if you really want to make your guess.

escapade in Batangas.  That is Matthew, Ate Nina eldest son.

I still feel young though I am at my early 30′s already.  My body also signals me that I am not getting any younger at all.  So best health care is always prepared. Elders would normally say that its gonna make you feel different if you have given birth already. All these signs of aging are showing to me very gradually. Even the things I read online such as Bioidentical Hormone Replacement are things that concerns aging. But even if that is the case, if you have a kid such as this boy, you wil feel young at heart forever.

Sunday Family Time at Toms World

Coming October will be my husband birthday. October 3 to be exact.  So yesterday, Rey requested that he will collect his birthday gift early from me.  Guess what he asked for? I don’t want to blog about that just yet, I want to reserve it for another post.

Just after we got his birthday gift, Rey and Gab headed to Tom’s World.  This is where they’re newest bonding craze.  Gab loves to play basketball while Rey gets addicted to this machine where you need to insert 1 peso coin to get it to drop more peso coins.  In turn, every 1 peso coin dropped by the machine the player gets two tickets out of it. Its a silly game but it makes him excited to collect tickets which he plans to exchange gifts for Gab.

Due to our excite with the games, we lost one of Gab’s spill proof drinking bottle that looks like this.  How I wish it gets returned to us but I don’t think so. This is the second time we lost a spill proof drinking bottle for Gab. 

May be I should really have name plaques in all of Gab’s things everytime we leave home. I feel really disappointed to myself because I don’t like losing things, especially one for my kid.

Name plaques I found online are for office set up only.   I should make something complimentary to Gab’s things.  I can see myself getting busy on this this coming weeks.

Happy Birthday Dearest Lola

Today is my dearest Lola’s 85th birthday! 

We all feel thankful and blessed after my Lola survived her major left hip surgery last 25th May.  This was due to the bad fall she had while we were on vacation in Bicol.  

My Lola is a great survivor.  If you had known her personally and you were able to hear her stories how she brought up  all her children alone after Lolo had passed away, you will see how magnificent she was. By the way, I am included to whom she brought up, I was already with her since I was four months old.  And now, she is as strong as she was before the operation, just that she needs to start to learn how to walk again.

This was taken the next morning after my Lola’s major operation.  She’s still feels heavy with her anesthesia but was able to smile and look straight to the camera.

We were all at Tita Rose’s house last Sunday for my Lola’s birthday celebration. I am guilty for not being able to take any picture.  My kept on giving me errands left and right.

Cameraless Blogging

If you noticed, I had been blogging without any recent personal photos being uploaded. Pardon my blog, but I am cameraless now.  I am not  born to be writer, I blog only just anything I can think of without having any plot nor plan of my story.  Whatever comes to mind and that is it.  Being cameraless made my blogging even more harder. 

Instead of me just taking the photos and uploading it to my blog, now there is me cosulting weekipedia or google to find the best adjective for what I could have had shown in my photo.

Just last week, I broke my camera without realizing it.  I was deleting some old photos to free up some storage on  my memory card and then all the pictures I take has a black background of some sort.  I am not a techy person and I never bothered trying to check what is wrong with my little machine.  Thankfully, I have Rey who has a good heart to take the camera to the repair shop.  I hope he finds time to squeeze it in his hectic schedule tomorrow.

Now my next problem is to secure a copy of all of my old pictures in the memory card.  Printing them is a good idea but I am afraid to ruin our printers ink cartridges too.

nice gift….

Expensive mugs are not very attractive to me even if having one is as important as a smartcard for a call center person like me.  If  I can use something that is not as expensive as a starbucks mug, i’m ok with it.
Anyway, I’ll leave  the mug in my station when I leave work and if someone steal my ordinary mug, i can just grab another one that will cost me about Php50 in DV or a Php100 at the bargain in SM.

Until my 31st birthday came, my loving husband gave me a mug as a birtday present.  This is the only expensive mug I got all my life.  Isn’t a starbucks mug like this one lovely? Maybe he thought that all call center people should have at least one piece of starbucks mug and yet I never had one. 

Since I brought the mug in the office, I made it a routine to keep it in my locker, I’m gonna kill who will steal this, GRRR!   Thank you so much hubby for this lovely present for my birthday last month, promise to take good care of this.

Mom’s Birthday Gift

My mother’s birthday is fast approaching and I still can’t think of an inexpensive anniversary gifts for her. Yes, that really is the term, inexpensive gifts, its the thought that counts anyway.

My mom stays in his 2nd husband’s place, which is so far away from us, and I think giving her this metal family tree sculpture is best.  She will have all our pictures hanging on the this miniature tree that she can place on her side table.

And since she is a first time Granda to my son, this can be a good choice as well.
