Our usual family bonding and routine every weekend is to pay a visit to Rey’s office after a good stroll at the mall.  Since Rey is now with the Sapphire Bloc construction group, Robinson’s Galleria is our choice every Saturday. Megamall is too far from the construction site and Gab will always complain walking from the mall to Rey’s office.

Gab is still in his hyper mode when we get to the office and I was able to convince him to try on his father’s hard had and reflectorized jacket. He was happy to walk around the office and show off his costume to his father’s co-engineer.

I am sure he will be able to pull it off as an officer when he grows up. I suddenly thought that he will be able to have a good management style in case we buy auto lifts in the future and he will be able to manage it for the family. Don’t you think I am too wishful to think about it for now.

Water Camp ResortBubbles Laundry will beat the summer on Gab’s 4th birthday.

My staff and crew (which is composed of myself, alvin, bong and ricky) are all excited to beat the summer this coming weekend back-to-back with Gab’s birthday celebration with the whole family.

We were orignally planning to visit Water Fun in Sucat but we were saddened to know that the place was turned to a dumpsite (thanks to Google for this wonderful news!) I was forced to look for an alternative resort and opted to search for a nearby place in Cavite. We are from Cavite but we haven’t explore Cavite that much.

Water Camp Resort in Cavite is a very nice place to look at from Google’s point of view. We will try and check this out this coming weekend to see it for ourselves. I will sure get back to you and share our experience be it nice or not so nice. Of course, we are all hopeful that it will be a nice one.

Good thing Rey’s Experia was kind enough to cooperate with me. Thanks a lot. Here are Gab’s graduation pictures. I still owe you video of my father and son claiming the stage to collect Gab’s awards.

It’s been a whole school year already. Gab’s graduation from Nursery is fast approaching and it will be the same day as our wedding anniversary on March 16. All of us in the family are happy and excited for him.

I did not realize it right away that I was not able to post any of Gab’s class picture, so here I am making up for my son.

Techy Son

According to my Uncle Noel, “Iba na ang singaw ng mga bata ngayon.” (He means that kids today are so into technology). He said this when we were chatting through facebook and I was telling him that I almost lost all my contact numbers on my phone because Gab is manipulating my phone. I already gave up competing with him with my HTC phones because he would never let it go when he starts watching video clips and playing Angry Birds with it. That is why, I transferred my prepaid SIM card to my old and simple phone unit that he would never get interested to play with.

Having heard of this from my Uncle, I started to think and agree with him. My son enjoyed the touch screen phone so much while it pester me a lot when I use it in composing text messages.  I hate the fact that I need to use both of my hands to use it, the other hand holding the phone and other hand touching the screen to make it work. I love my old style phone so much that I can do text messages without even looking at the letters on it. I guess this is what my Uncle means when he said kids are so techy nowadays.

I wonder what can Gab do when he learns to use internet and computers the way it’s for. I wonder if he try to look for computer carts and do online buying as well. I just hope he learns to do online job as early as he can so he can manage to fund him online shopping, hehe.

Summer Time

After the Valentines Day, summer will be fast approaching. For sure, resorts will be busy in accommodating vacation goers, swimming pools will be attacked by everyone from all walks of life.

Good thing is, my son is very much in love with his portable tub. This would mean savings for us since we don’t need to bring him to the resort to get sun burn while enjoying playing in the water. At least not all the time, we’d still bring him maybe for a couple of times.

Gab loves swimming on his portable tub, and he does this everyday. Maybe we’ll have to get raypak pool heaters during cold season so he can still enjoy his swimming.

Someone said in Facebook that we should post this if we have a wonderful son. So here I am, posting it, because I have a son that is so WONDERFUL!!!!

Now my problem is, I think I am being unfair with Rey, I think I should find something equivalent for him as well.

Too bad, I can’t find anything in the internet. Or am I just really lazy to look for one. I just hope that giving him equestrian helmets will be OK for the mean time. Hope he will like it.

And when he likes it, our son will like it too and I will have another problem of looking for another one for him. Oh, I think this is going to be never ending…..but because I love them both. I won’t stop here.

In 10 days time, it will be valentines day. I am happily looking at our anniversary rings, yes our rings, I have both weddings rings of me and Rey. It was just given back to me by my friend because we had it fixed by the goldsmith. The stud on Rey’s ring got lost and we need to have it repaired. Thanks to my friend who’s mother sells jewelry and she knows a lot of goldsmith who can fix rings.

Telling story about how Rey and I met is always a favorite topic of mine. Who you believe that Rey and I were classmates in highschool and we have the same group of friends. We were one of the most choatic group consist of 10 boys and 11 girls all in all. After high school, we all parted ways, some of us went to college along with few barkada but alone did not have anyone in my high school to be with in my college. There were no cell phones yet in 1996. Most of us have landlines but even with that I was not able to kept constant communicaiton with my high school friends.

Ten years after we graduated in high school, I bumped into my old barkada and classmate by the name of Reynald. And it all started there…….we now live under one roof together with a little boy we call  Gab.

I have been staying at home since Wednesday and I mean it when I say it. I am no longer a border in our own house at least for the last 3 days now.  This means I am not leaving the house to go to work. Do not envy me,  I am on sick leave for already 3 days now. My doctor advised me to rest, as in rest at home because of my chronic laryngitis.

The only good thing that I like is I get to be with my son for a complete 24 hours a day. He’s driving me crazy most of the time. He’s so playful and talkative and there are times we totally don’t undertand what he is saying.

That picture was taken when we were playing in the living room today. After I tied the hanky on his forehead, he asked to get my western belts from the back of our door and have one of it tied on my forehead too. He also asked his nanny to tie one of the belt on her forehead too.
