As I was blogging in this wee hours of the morning, I was shocked when one of my friend in facebook and an officemate Hazel posted about this tragic story about Kodak. Kodak have filled its bankruptcy yesterday according to Hazel’s post in FB.

I was saddened knowing about this. Kodak has been with me since my childhood. I suddenly remember one of the photo I have when I was about the age of my son, we’ll I believe I was less than three then. It was the only photo I had when I was small and that was before I was taken to Bicol by my dearest grand mother. Sad to say, that photo is gone already.  Gone with Kodak already.

With all of these digital revolution happening from everywhere many of the things I have known during my childhood seems so strange nowadays. With all these digital games like angry birds, plants and zombie and play console such as xbox, wii game,  PS3, not to mention those android phones and other gadgets. I wonder if my son will still learn how to play “taguan” or even “sipa” when he gets older. Or will they only hear that as part of history or subject in high school?

It appears that Rovio is not satisfied with just conquering the mobile gaming world.  It’s bound to conquer the desktop too.  The company has officially announced that Angry Birds will be coming to Facebook and the date it chose is February 14, 2012.  Nothing like a cute game to boost your mood on Valentine’s Day.   Please see the teaser video by clicking Source below.  There’s not much detail yet but the wait won’t be that long.

What is the best time for a 2 year old kid to go to sleep? I’d bet you’d say before 9o’clock in the evening. I wonder why Gab is still hyper and active past 9 in the evening. If you know what my job is, you’d also think its the culprit. See what he loves to do late in the evening…

Farmville in facebook

Facebook is a very popular social networking nowadays, as popular as its Farmville application.   Almost all of my friends have facebook already before I finally register an account of my own.  Not to all of my friends surprise, they have been playing Farmville for a long time in Facebook before they finally saw me playing Farmville as well.

If you are familiar with Farmville, you will know that someone is playing on it because you will get notification everytime they update or play on Farmville.  Farmville is a real-time farm simulation created by Zynga.  Once you created you account in farmville, you can invite your facebook friends to be your farmville’s neighbor, send them gifts or request gifts from them.

As a farmville farmer you are also leveled differently based on your cash earnings and experience points or XP. Kinds of seeds, trees, animals, buildings, decorations, vehicles and others can be purchased depending your XP and coins/cash available.

Personally, I can say this game can be addictive.  You have to be logged in always on Farmville to be able to harvest your crops in time or they’ll wither and will be you loss.  That means you will not be able to get back the money you used to purchase the seeds and will need to spend again for another crop.

If you have lots of time to play Farmville online, go ahead be the master of your own Farmville.  But if you do not have plenty of time online, you can still have your farmville, of course.  You can follow the style that I am doing, instead of planting crops, I plant trees and take care of animals.  These will never wither and you harvest all its products anytime you go back to your Farmville town.

Happy Farmville playing!!!
