This plan being offered by Smart make me have a second thought of getting another phone line.  I know I have promised to myself before that I will never ever subcribe to any postpaid plan anymore.  But the free and unlimited social networking feature of the plan that comes along with a very sophisticated Samsung phone gives me a really hard time to help myself avoid it.

I went to the nearest smart wireless center near home to inquire about this and according to the lady who honestly explained to me that I should be very careful in managing my internet connected to avoid any unwanted charges.  Being able to understand that that is really normal with any phone line subcription, I now have an excuse to myself not to go-gaga over this very inviting offer of smart.

By the way, the Samsung Galaxy Y is Samsung’s latest most affordable Android phone (Php5,990).

Shoes Shoes Shoes

If I am to buy something for myself this christmas, I will never  have a second thought of buying shoes and sandals.  Last year, I had two slip ons from Parisian in SM and I still have them until today.

I wonder how our christmas shopping will turn out this year.  Last year was superb, Gab enjoyed playing at the mall.  See my previous post about that, here

I desparately want this enzo angiolini shoes.  I got this picture online and I know I cannot resist of not buying this if I find this at the mall.

These is just one problem I have this time.  Gab will surely not enjoy accompanying me to shop for my things, he will definitely grab us to the Tom’s World of Fun right away.  He is now so used to going to the mall just to play at Tom’s World, this is something that I don’t agree with Rey all the time.

We just had our shopping for christmas 2010 this last Sunday, though we were budgeted, my little boy surely enjoyed his visit at the mall with so many people.  What could I expect, this is the last weekend before Christmas and everyone is rushing.

Not only we were budgeted, we were also time pressured. We were only able to hit few sections in the mall.

Gab playing hide and seek

We were only able to hit the men’s clothing area, childrens wear and ladies shoes section.   We spent longer than usual to find clothes that will fit Gab.  We initially went to the children’s wear to find something for him but his size was too small for the childrens’s area, so we were sent away to the baby’s section.  Do you think this boy would find his size at infants?  After being shoo away for the 2nd time, we were lucky to pick a size 4 shorts from Garfield and a size 10 shirt from Napoleon.

Would you believe that I am a virgin from shopping online. I won’t force you to believe me, it is really sometimes hard to believe that someone who has her own blog and always on the internet, does not do online shopping.  Well, its very similar to my being Bicolana yet I have not gone to Mayon Volcano.  You would really be more surprise if I tell you that I grew up in Bicol until I went to school in Manila on my 3rd grade of my elementary school.  Another thing that my friends find unbelievable is I do not understand the native dialect in Bicol, but I do the Cebuano dialect.  I know its funny, but that’s just the way it is.

And because I do not do online shopping before I want to do my first with a noble cause.  I was surprised that I have almost $200 in my paypal account that I can use to shop.  I think it will be a good idea to purchase online some gifts for me and Rey and for our baby.  I was playing with words using google search engine and suprise to get lots of cigaratte related article when I typed the word “cigars internet“.  I am actually looking for nice article or souvenir item that I can read or purchase online to encourage Rey to quit smoking.  Its not bad idea to spend my $200 if it will make Rey quit smoking.  Oh well, my husband is never a chain smoker, I just want him to quit because I do not smoke and to prevent other bad effect of smoking in our body.  Peace to all those who smoke, I love you all and have nothing against you.

Anyone who can recommend me any souvenirs available online that has something to do with cigars?  I would really appreciate your advise.

Are you a Puregold shopper?  I am.

Shopping at Puregold has benifits and disadvatages. I’d like to share some of my experiences with you.

You can do EPS with them if you have an ATM that has that feature, however, you cannot do two purchases in one visit.  There is no limit on the amount as long as your balance can accomodate it not with the number of transactions.

If you will shop using a credit card, make sure that you will bring at least 2 valid id’s with you to avoid the cashier  refusing to swipe your card.

Expect that your receipts will be checked by the security guard at the exit, they will count your shopping bag and make sure it will match on what the bagger’s wrote on your receipt.

I appreciate the security measures being practiced by the employees of Puregold, but I believe they are missing some area to focus to aside from security check. At SM, you will not be prohibited to use your ATM as many times as you want and SM cashiers will not ask you for a valid ID if you wish to use your credit cards, atleast not all the time.  SM security guard will not check your shopping bags at the exit as well.

One time I purchased a  microphone at Puregold, unfortunately, I needed to return it due to a factory damage.  As a customer I will of course as for a replacement.  So I head on to Puregold before I go to my office, I was in a hurry so I went to the customer service area, they called the crew that is assigned to the electronic equipment where I got the microphone.  He accompanied me to check other microphones and test it. I was able to chose a replacement right away, we head on the cashier, this crew knew I am in a hurry.  Luckily, there are not much people on the cashiers lane, we had a very accomodating and friendly cashier and bagger on my lane.

Now this is the big surprise, after the cashier documented my replacement item, the crew that accompanied me took the new microphone back without saying a word and walk back to his post.  All of us were surprised to what he did.  The bagger followed him back to get the microphone back, kinda weird because the bagger said the crew did not say a word at all.

This happened at Puregold Imus, hope you don’t have the same experience that I had.
