I think I am exagerating today!  I am making a big problem out of our important papers at home.  Keeping files and keeping it neat and organized has always been a challenge for me.  Plastic envelopes and plastics folders does not work all the time, not to being its being weather proof.

Once, I mentioned that we experience flood with typhoon Basyang in April last year and until now our important documents that got flooded is still not fixed.  It was dried, but I haven’t re-organized it yet.    I hope I have a document scanning software that I can use to save files and secure it from any type of weather.

How I wish I have enough money to pay the service the man offers in this photo.

When I was a kid, my grandmother would always tell me that its best if I finish school and start working, then I can buy everything I want.   That’s what I have in mind until I finish college and start working.   Yes, I worked and earned money but I was never able to buy everything I want, I wonder it will happen.   I am working but I am broke, I never liked the feeling of not having any money at all but I just noticed that the more money I get the more that I feel like I don’t have anything at all.  Maybe its because I never stop wanting!!!

Here are the things that I want, but I don’t know how to get it.  It seems that I can only have this in my dreams.

  • I want to have my own hot air balloon.
  • I want to buy silver coins, the Europeans and US dollar coins are what i want
  • I want to have 101 Dalmatians
  • I want to have my own Disneyland
  • I want to see Garfield and Odie

I know I really don’t need those things but it just feels good to think of things impossible to achieve.

We will visit my grandmother this coming christmas, 10 days to go and I am off to Bicol, to where I grew up and had most of my childhood.  My grandmother is already excited to see my son, in fact she send text messages everyday  to remind that she will play with Gab once we’re in Bicol.  I would be adding more photos of my lola and baby in my blog, see their old photo here.

It will be very hectic schedule for me this month.  I will not enjoy being off to work before Christmas and before New Year. In fact, I will be in the office on Christmas and New Year’s midnight to work, and then w’ll be on the road going to my home town.   I hope Santa will put the best acne treatments handbook on my red sack this Christmas Eve. I really need to avoid getting pimples during these kinds of occasion.

Hot Cakes

About five years ago, flying to another country would mean becoming an OFW for an average person like me or it could be a business trip for someone having business abroad.  Nowadays, going to another county is like a daily trip to shopping malls.

Travel deals are easily made by most of the person I new.  Airline company are selling plane tickets like hotcake.   As I write this blog, my friend blogger and officemate Dea  is now in  Hong Kong with her sister May and boyfriend Abet.  Another of our colleague, Chris just came back from a leisure from Singapore two weeks ago.  And also anytime from now, another of my colleague Jen will fly to the US, she will be away for a month.

My brother in law, Roger, had been to Hong Kong after his wedding and they are planning to go back in a years time with their daughter Yma.

I wonder if Rey and I will plan travelling outside of the country soon…….

In my dreams

Since I was a child, I never liked riding the “kalesa” or the horse drawn carriage.  Maybe its because I pitty the horses when their mouth is full of bubbles when they are already tired running around with the “kalesa” behind. That is how I got exposed to it when I was a new in Manila from Bicol  during my childhood days.  We lived in Tondo during those times and the horse drawn carriage is a common ride coming from Divisoria going to just anywhere.  Our house is situated along Juan Luna where most horses drawn carriage going to Pajo or somewhere in Caloocan passes by.

On the contrary, I like to have horses,  beautiful horses.  I want  a black beauty with a white stud on her foreheard.  I will not let him have a carriage on her back instead I will pamper my horse, give her cold  water and fresh grass and let her sleep sound and comfortably. I imagine myself in my riding breeches similar to what men worn in the 17th and 18th centuries while I enjoy a ride with my black beauty.  Its now the 20th century so what those men can have then women can have it too, now.

After Gab’s birthday celebration back in April it was only yesterday we had a chance to visit again in Antipolo.  Gab had a great time playing with his cousins Yma and Matthew.

The Avelino family, (that’s Rey’s sister Ate Niña, Richard and Matthew) had their new car blessed in Antipolo Church in the morning.   Just on their way to the church, Richard managed to scratch the bumper of their new automobile.  It’s a  fully authomatic so they can’t just have it repaired in a regular auto shop so it should be some auto shop such as  Dallas auto repair.  Seeing their new car makes me dream of my own, i didn’t like to have just a regular type of automobile,  i’ve always wanted to have a pick up type vehicle, one that is like Chevrolet Silverado .   Having this type of vehicle will serve me two purposes, that’s as much as I can think of right now.   Its a private vehicle so I have the right to park it in front of any five star hotel just to show it off, or I can drive it all the way to my province without worrying about the rough road.

Anyway, much of my day dreaming.  After we had our snack at Ate Niña house, we hit the road again and drove from  Antipolo to High Street in Global City.  Richard was still behind the wheels after he managed to escape that misadventure of scratching his baby’s bumper. Now we noticed that he is more careful on breaks now and even asking some tips about break job from Rey and Kuya (that’s their eldest).   He admits its a lesson learned fom him,  most of the time he will drive for his family so he’d like them to be safe with him.  He’ll have to know more about driving and safety since Antipolo City is on mountainous place, rolling and steep road are always present.  He’ll have to have a good break job for his car for his family to be safe.

We were home just about twelve midnight and Gab was still up and hyper. Seems like he doesn’t want to end the lovely day with his cousins and all the strolling we made. But just few minutes after I changed his clothed and put on his sleeping pajama, he dozzed off with his yayay on his mouth.
